Elegantly furnished in Balinese furniture, this beautifully restored home is within walking distance to the University of KwaZulu Natal. The area around Bali on the Ridge is popular for its many restaurants, take-away & shopping centres, all within a 5 km radius of the guesthouse. (Musgrave Centre, Davenport Rd restaurants, Buxtons Village).
Our guesthouse offers a total of 10 double bedrooms (2 family rooms) with high ceilings, wooden floors, and en-suite bathrooms, with showers. All rooms have air conditioning, TV’s, DStv movie, sports and BBC Entertainment Channel, tea/coffee making facilities and a choice of either king size, twin or double beds.

We are conveniently situated within 1 block of the University of KwaZulu Natal and the 2 local hospitals – Entabeni and St Augustine’s. Albert Lutuli hospital and the Nelson Mandela School of medicine are situated close by. The Durban CBD, the ICC – International Convention centre, and the major sporting stadiums of Absa Stadium (Kings Park), Sahara Stadium (Kingsmead), and the Moses Mabhida are all 10 minutes drive away. Virginia airport is approximately 14km away and we are a 30-minute drive from the King Shaka Airport.
Breakfast and dinner
Breakfast and Dinner are available on request and can be enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the garden. We offer free wireless internet access and a laundry service.
Security
There is onsite parking and a 24-hour security guard to ensure the safety of our guests at all times. We also drop off and pick up guests from the airport.

We are a non-smoking establishment, but we do have garden rooms with outside patios to accommodate smokers.
